I would instead STRONGLY, STRONGLY recommend you instead spend your time finding really good samples and use Ableton Live to sequence samples and then use the built in stuff in logic for synths. With that said, I've heard great things about Atmosphere and Trilogy, but seeing they are by the same lame company and have a similar interface, I won't touch them. I find the GUI to just be so unbelievably UN-intuitive and their "training" videos that they are so proud seem to have a constant tone of "oooh look how cool this feature is!" even though they are generally features I didn't want in the first place, whereas really simple things (like Sylus locking to the sesion tempo and playing in sync with my sequencer - WOW what a concept!) are mysteriously missing. I find that product so incredibly stupid and gimmicky and lame in the way they have it set up, I have decided I will indefinitely boycott everything from that company. Found it kinda underwhelming when I actually tried it. I demoed the NI stuff, was all stoked on it before I demoed it. Which DAW are you using? Have you tried the demos of any NI or Spectrasonics stuff yet? I definitely would do that right away. My friend says the Guitar Rig is awesome (which I think comes with complete?) that could be a big use to you for the guitar stuff. When used in DAWs, the Tab Player also allows users to export the tablature as an audio file.Haven't used Native Instruments stuff much, but I know a lot of people who like it. Users can load, display and playback any specific track inside a tablature file.
